Returns and Refunds
All sales for American Express® Travelers Cheques are considered final. Please note if you have a surplus of Cheques, American Express suggests the Cheques to be deposited into an appropriate bank account. Since the Cheques are considered "cash", this process is faster and easier to implement than returning Cheques and issuing credit.
In the event of an extraordinary circumstance and a return or refund of Cheques is requested, please contact your sales representative or American Express at 1-800-293-1136 ext 228 to receive instructions on how to proceed. Specific instructions will be issued that must be followed as directed. Please note, should a refund be issued, American Express will only issue Cheque face value should the error be at fault of the client. Should the error be at the fault of American Express, entire fees will be refunded.
American Express reserves the right to verify compliance with the purchase agreement. Each case is reviewed on individual circumstance. All decisions made by American Express are final.
