American Express Incentive Services and Shell Vacations Club Executives Speakers at Prepaid Card Expo ST. LOUIS, February 22, 2007 – Executives with American Express Incentive Services (AEIS), a leader in providing prepaid cards for consumer promotions and business-to-business solutions, and Shell Vacations Club, L.P. (SVC), a leader in vacation ownership resorts, will be presenters at the upcoming 2007 Prepaid Card Expo. This premier conference and trade show is the largest prepaid and stored value card industry event.
Martin Hood, AEIS vice president of sales, consumer promotions and Paul Adreani, SVC vice president of operations will present a case study of Shell Vacations Club's dynamic point-based loyalty reward program. To ensure a rewarding vacation experience, SVC offers its members prepaid cards that utilize DirectSpendSM, AEIS' patented merchant acceptance process (U.S. Patent Numbers 5,689,100 and 5,689,695). SVC members may redeem their points for one of four cards in the SVC PlayDeck redeemable exclusively at golf, dining, movie and hotel establishments that welcome the American Express® Card throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. With these cards, SVC can appeal to a recipient's chosen vacation activity.
AEIS will also be exhibiting at booth number 534 at the Prepaid Card Expo, scheduled Feb. 26-28 in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
