Description

The LaGuardia Airport Delta Airline Airfield Reconfiguration project is a complex, phased project set to rebuild a state-of-the-art terminal at LaGuardia Airport. The new terminal will have 38 gates located on the four concourses, connected by a centralized lobby, security checkpoint, and baggage claim. It will feature wider concourses, larger gate holding rooms with more seating, as well as a 30% increase in concession space compared to existing terminals. With this new design, gates will have access to dual taxi lanes allowing flights to arrive and depart simultaneously, which will greatly improve airfield efficiency. Revamping outdated terminals will bring LaGuardia Airport one step closer to being a 21st century airport equipt to provide a world-class passenger experience.
